After a couple nights in Soldotna, we pulled up stakes a drove to Seward. Although it’s well known as a port-o-call for giant cruise ships, it’s big draw for me was it’s proximity to Kenai Fjords National Park. More to come on that later. We spent our first day cruising out on smaller boat to Holgate glacier. I enjoyed the 5 hour cruise way more than I expected. Stunning views and lots of wildlife kept me distracted. Other highlights of Seward included a half day kayak trip and wild berry picking.
