I’ve been telling Laura for some time that I want to go to Disneyland on my actual birthday. I first had this thought back when Disney let you into the park for FREE on your birthday and while that’s not the case anymore, my birthday still lands on a unique time of the year that suggested low attendance. It’s positioned right in the middle of the post-Thanksgiving pre-Christmas slump. Also this year, my birthday was on a Wednesday (lower attendance on weekdays) and it rained! We loved it. We never stood in line more than 10 minutes and rode everything we wanted multiple times. Highlight had to be getting day time drunk at the Star Wars cantina. I proudly wore the birthday crown most of the day.
