This, like sooo many other home improvement projects, took way longer than expected but it’s finally a livable space again. We started breaking down walls the day after my birthday (Dec. 5) and didn’t really have a working kitchen again until 4 months later. I’ll be the first to admit that it was worth it though. We basically demoed our old walk-in pantry, expanded the entry to act as a breakfast nook, and replaced all the cabinets and counters. In addition to the contract work that was done, I’ve included some photos of the personal projects I undertook to improve the new space; breakfast nook table & bench, shelves, and giant pegboard.
