Visiting Texas for the Christmas holidays this year was amazing. After spending a few days visiting Laura’s sister in Conroe, we headed to the Texas hill country to visit my side of the family. We stayed with my sister’s family in Seguin and spent lots of time with my Mom and David. While there we visited the family ranch which I hadn’t been to in years. So many places were recognizable despite not seeing them for over 20 years. Laura and I rounded out our TX visit with a quick stop at the Blanton Art Museum in Austin. We’ll have to make a point to go back because so much was left unseen.
