For Laura’s birthday this year we hit up our favorite Santa Barbara county wine spots. At the same time, I was supposed to participate in the Solvang Century bike ride but it was shut down by the county on the wave of the COVID cancellations. I still went on a pretty epic (albeit damp) ride and we enjoyed a weekend of food and drink just before the world shut down. Highlight of the weekend had to be the LaFond Sip n Shear where we watched Baby Doll sheep get their spring shear while sipping on fine wines. Pretty boojie.
