Part 2 of my week off included a weekend trip to Dogwood Campground just outside Lake Arrowhead. Late October in the local mountains usually gives us a taste of fall while the lower LA area is still hovering in the 80s and this year didn’t disappoint. So much in fact that we awoke on Sunday morning in a soupy fog struggling to stay warm. On Saturday, I got Laura to do a little bit of hiking and we spent the afternoon playing games, drinking wine, and listening to the Dodger game on the radio.
