New Orleans

One of my very best friends from childhood, Brian, is getting married in November and as his best man, it was on me to organize the celebration of his bachelorhood. After some discussion earlier in the year, Brian and I strongly agreed that New Orleans was the perfect locale. It offered a unique balance of food, culture, and live music that just wasn’t comparable to any other city. Our crew of four spent 3 full days in the Big Easy. We rented an awesome house in the Treme neighborhood that I’m still convinced was just a little bit haunted. Highlights included a haunted walking tour, the New Orleans Jazz Museum, beignets at Café Du Monde, a fancy meal at GW Fins, live jazz on Bourbon St., and the National WWII Museum. In addition to the sights we just had a great time hanging out and maybe being a little crude. It was a great opportunity to hang out with an old friend I just don’t get the chance to see that often.
