Paso Robles

Similar to last year, Laura and I escaped to the central California wine region for the week between Xmas & New Year. We stayed in a small cabin on a private ranch near Creston, CA. It was an ideal location and offered a quiet respite from LA. Paso Robles was a short drive away and we took full advantage of the fine dining and winery options available to us. Overall, the week was well balanced between staying in to learn our new board game “Wingspan” and getting outside to bike a new set of country roads. Our isolated setting also afforded some pretty spectacular star gazing. It was hard to leave such a peaceful setting but now we’re recharged and ready to take on 2022.
