Laura and I got a head start on the holidays with a trip to see the fam in Texas. It was a quick trip but we packed in a lot activities with 3.5 days. By far the best part of the trip was going on two fancy dinners with my Mom/David and Julie/Brannon at the Lonesome Dove and Mcadoo’s Seafood respectively. On Saturday, we drove out to the river lot and surveyed the progress since last year. On Sunday, David spoiled us with a lavish fish fry meal and on Monday we celebrated Julie’s birthday with a lazy day at home and a craft project.
