Lucy’s first Gallenbachtoberfest was a hit! And only possible because my Mom was here to take care of her. Lucy maintained a nonplussed expression most of the day with so many people to meet and new things to look at. This year’s attendance was healthy and as expected the kinder count crept a little higher to 10.

I took away the men’s Gallenbachtoberfest trophy for the first time but only due to my strong performances in beer pouring and the egg race. Feats of strength like stein holding are not my bag. Patti retained the trophy for the women. It was another great year of celebrating!
