Bidness trip! I recently returned from a week long work trip to Spain to collaborate with a vendor on a vibration test. The testing house was in the moderately sized town of Vitoria-Gasteiz in the northern part of the country. Despite being relatively unknown to me, Vitoria is a beautiful old European city full of ancient Cathedrals and cobble stone roads. The week afforded me some time to explore the nooks and crannies of the old city center. In addition, I spent nearly every night eating pinchos (little snacks kind of like tapas) at nearby bars. Dinner at 8:30pm took a little getting used to but it was worth it. At the end of the week, I headed back to Madrid for a little tourist action before catching my flight back home.
