Spring break woo! We just returned from a week long trip to the Savannah, GA area and it was fantastic. It was a first of it’s kind trip where my Dad, sister, and I, along with all our respective family units, met on neutral ground for a week of site seeing and hanging out. My Dad got us a great beach house rental on Tybee Island (a sleepy coastal town about 15 miles from Savannah). We were all excited to be staying a mere 100 ft from the beach. Lucky for us, the weather got progressively more beach appropriate as the week went along and by mid-week we were able to introduce Lucy to the Atlantic Ocean. Ironically, Lucy has yet to visit the Pacific Ocean but I’m going to blame that on this year’s wet SoCal winter. Other highlights included visiting the Tybee Island Lighthouse, cooking family dinners, and shopping the junk beach shops. We also made trips to downtown Savannah but I’m going to cover that in another post.
