Cleveland

I went to Cleveland for work. My ultimate destination was the NASA Armstrong Test Facility (ATF) in Sandusky but Cleveland served as the muster point for all my colleagues. We spent a day touring the largest thermal vac chamber, most powerful mechanical shaker, and loudest reverberant acoustic chamber on the planet. I also got to talk with a number of talented NASA engineers that operate the facility. One of which was an old Boeing coworker from my intern days.

With the few hours we had off the clock, my colleagues and I walked around downtown Cleveland and took in a Guardians game at Progressive Field. I suspect I will be spending significantly more time in Ohio as this work project ramps up in the coming year.
