Colter Bay

Our base of operations for the Wyoming trip was Colter Bay Village within Grand Teton National Park. Each family rented a cabin room that elevated us slightly above glamping. There were lot of activities and amenities within walking distance of the village. Most popular of which was “swim beach”. It was a stretch of rock beach along Jackson Lake that was just warm enough to swim in at the heat of the day. The beach also served as an excellent spot for star gazing at night. With most of the other park attractions at least a 30 minute drive away, hanging around the village proved to be a great option for low key days.
