On our final full day with everyone, the group split along recreational activity lines. Team A opted to wake up early and go searching for moose before the heat drove them into hiding for the day. Team B opted for a later start and went on a bicycle adventure. The Gallenbachs were clearly on Team B and we partnered with the Hechts to do a leisurely 16 mile round trip ride from Moose Junction to Jenny Lake. This was Lucy’s first time in a Burly trailer and I think she handled it very well. She likes the handlebar seat we have at home better but once the wind was blowing in her face she enjoyed herself quite a bit. Both teams visited Snake River Brewing at different points in the day for post-activity bites and brews. The day concluded with most everyone meeting up at swim beach for a late afternoon dip in Jackson Lake.

The next day everyone but us flew back to California. We spent our extra full day returning to Yellowstone to explore more attractions we missed near Old Faithful. All in all it was a very successful trip! Would try again. Would recommend.
