One of our pre-Christmas family activities while visiting Texas was going to see the Johnson City Lights. This small hill country town put on a pretty good light show in their central square and courthouse. However, the real “wow factor” went to the lights display at the local power coop. They wrapped huge oak trees with more lights then I ever thought possible. It was impressive. As a bonus to the lights, we got to see Aunt Johnny and treated her to dinner at a local brew pub. It was obvious from all the folks that stopped to say “hi” that she is a popular regular.
