Laura and I escaped battlefield LA for the less firework obsessed Central Coast over the Independence Day weekend. We stayed at a large 4 acre property in Arroyo Grande that had lots of outdoor spaces and friendly critters. We managed to stay away from people most of the weekend but we did drop in on a few wineries outside of SLO that offered outdoor wine drinking.
