Getting to the East Coast from LA sucks. Non-stop options that aren’t to large New England metros are hard to find. Even out of LAX. So as an intermediary step on our way to North Carolina, I planned a 3 night layover in North Texas to visit our best friends the Crails! It had been about 18 months since we last visited the bustling metropolis of Van Alstyne for the 2024 Solar Eclipse. Lucy was a lot more mobile, active, and opinionated on this visit. But Maggie and Aaron are always so sweet to Lucy as they show her all the things they love to play. As always, it was great to just catch up with old friends and eat some top notch Southern fried catfish and Tex Mex.
