Even though Laura’s actual 40th birthday was well over a month ago, this past weekend the CaliFamily properly celebrated with a sunset booze cruise and fancy dinner. Captain Mike treated us well on his 48ft motor yacht as we putted around Alamitos Bay. Maybe it was the 6th bottle of wine talking but by the end of cruising, we were all asking ourselves why we don’t go cruising every month. Next we walked over to Teleferic, a Barcelona themed restaurant, for a properly late Spanish style dinner. Croquetas, paella, and sangria were among some of tasty dishes served up familia style. Overall it was a great evening spent catching up with old friends without the distraction of parenting 🙂
